AutoSync can send an email when the execution of a run profile fails. If email settings are configured, other errors such as trigger failures will also be sent.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Enable mail | Allows AutoSync to send email |
Mail host | The SMTP server to use to send the email |
Mail host port | The SMTP server port to connect to |
Use TLS | AutoSync will use STARTTLS to encrypt communication between the client and server. Note that AutoSync does not support SMTPS (SMTP over SSL) |
From address | The address that AutoSync will send the email from |
To address | The address that AutoSync will send the email to |
Use service account credentials | Specifies that AutoSync should attempt to authenticate to the SMTP server using the credentials of the service account. Leave unticked if your mail server does not require authentication |
Username/Password | A specific set of credentials to use to authenticate to the SMTP server. Leave blank if your mail server does not require authentication |
Error reports | Error reports can either be sent every time a run profile fails, or AutoSync can send an email the first time a specific error occurs. If the same error keeps occurring, subsequent emails will not be sent. If a different error occurs, then an email will be sent. |
Ignore the following return codes | A list of return codes that AutoSync should not send an email for. By default this includes success which can be removed if you want email reports for all run profile execution attempts. |
Maximum number of error records to include in report | AutoSync will provide details of each error that occurs during a run profile. To avoid excessively long emails, this setting should be kept quite low |
